Bayreuther Haus in Mehlmeisel

If I could I wouldn't give stars My buddy ordered a schnitzel and got a potato salad instead of fries and I ordered cheese spaetzle that weren't really good. Fortunately, I can handle salt well, otherwise I would have said that the spaetzle were too salty. The waitress made us wait over half an hour before paying and was not even a little friendly. I really expected more, so I won't go any more ...

The food is good and the service is friendly too, I can recommend it!

Moderate gastronomy but great view

Have not had such bad milk coffee in a long time. In the beer garden, paper cups, 0.1L for 3 EUR. Frothed, thin milk with a hint of stale filter coffee. It's actually a cheek.

Great hospitality. Friendly through and through. Food is also very good. I can only recommend all dishes. Whether in summer or winter, it is worthwhile to drop by. The location is fantastic, in the summer sitting outside and some food maybe just an ice cream but with the view you don't want to go anymore. In winter you can go skiing (cross-country / alpine) or snowboarding, the Bayreuth house has a direct slope. There is a playground with a climbing castle for children or the children's area for sledding in winter. The wildlife park is also in a direct location. Go there, it's worth it

After visiting the natural park with the children with its wild boars, deer, wild cats and lynxes, though in the wet snow, we stopped for lunch. Austrian place with magnificent juicy schnitzels of different types and not only. Nice view from the panoramic windows.

Have ordered dirt vegan food. We got the vegetarian dish, just something changed and therefore vegetable. It was delicious, great seasoned, but we still had some hunger afterwards, because the dish included a potato with lots of salad. We will be back.

The inn is cozy, child friendly. The food was okay. The cheese spaetzle but especially good. Disappointed we were from the attention of the service staff. A spilled Coke we had to mop up with napkins, because on request at the counter "no rag" have. Another drink request was not included. Too bad. Today a second try. On our friendly note, that the changing table is broken (broken on one side of the wall) and you should mark accordingly, you answer "mhh". After an hour, nothing had happened yet. Dangerous!

In summer a nice little mountain hut with very nice staff and great views. The menu is quite small but everything tasted very good. Carving and spaetzle tasted good.

Very nice location with a great view. The food was delicious (beef goulash) and the service was great, the staff was very nice. Prices are great.

The first impression can be misleading. From the outside, maybe thinks: "Well, that usual." But then I was pleasantly surprised. A friendly service, who also responded to our special requests. The food is really very good for the price. Actually I would have to give 5 ☆ stars but "Excellent", which is something very special for me. I give 4.5 ☆ and a clear recommendation for the Bayreuth house.

Perfect place, perfect staff, really good food brought in a (almost) minute after ordering.
